School was established in the year 1961, as Primary School and Middle School upto 1994 under Lower Subansiri District but now exist in a new district called Kra-Daadi District Palin, Arunachal Pradesh having bifurcated from than Lower Subansiri District Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh.
Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh Gazette Notification No. ED.3/109/94 3rd October 1994:- The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh was notify/upgraded Govt. Middle School Tali to Govt. Secondary School Tali and School Code No. 12190300201 and then CBSE Affiliation No. 2220129 upto 31/03/2007.
At present the school is running upto Class X (ten) and being the only Govt. Secondary School Tali in the entire 20-Tali (ST) Assembly Constituency, it is affiliation with CBSE need to renewed up to Class X (ten) in the interest of public service.
